This is a high bitrate remaster of my first CD at the birth years of DIY CD's which was for me 1995 and 1996. The WWW Internet was born in 1995. I went online with my music that same year as slow downloads from dialup modems, like every other adventurous indie musician on the planet. We all got to know each other in memorable ways.

I recorded this album at home on my own using loaned gear by good friends including excellent studio condenser mics (thanks Gus!) and highest quality TASCAM DA-88 8 track PCM recording setup.

I did it then in a spare 8x8 bedroom in Silicon Valley and it turned into an early CD release I shopped to folk DJ's on the WWW that I could email directly and then mail them the CD.

Now I've remastered this vintage recording using my analog-like Spectral Matching Mastering developed 2025-26 by me at home. I rejected all the frequency oriented rules for brickwall filter mastering that got defined by Sony in 1980 (Red Book). I instead use the original mix to reveal all the sound that was recorded but then masked or compressed or whatever by the industry standards.

This is what my original CD tracks sounded like in the headphones I was mixing it from the TASCAM DA-88 (thanks Roger!) through my Mackie 1202 (the old days) to a Sony TCD-10 1-bit 16/44.1k DAT (thanks Roger!).
